I am in need of the best(if possible for some gaming) half height GPU.
Something like this

are you able to use a pci-e extension and fold it leaving the card on its side? If so the card can be bigger?

That's what i plan to do with HP Slim Line. Then i could fit cards over 11 inches long of any width. R9 390 or GTX 980 wpuld fit with relative ease.
