This laptop has a Core i5 2520M(Sandy Bridge) faster than the Core i5 480m. 2nd generation Core i processor which is more battery efficient. $30 more(a little over your budget) and you can get a quad Core i7 2630QM.

The Core i5 2520M turbo boost goes up to 3.2Ghz while the Core i5 480m Goes up to 2.9Ghz

Hello! I'm looking to buy my first laptop. My needs are studying (means office programs), internet browsing, maybe movies and i think that's it. (Maybe some "lightweight" games).
The cheapest ones in my country are Lenovo G560 0679-B6G and HP G62-B50SJ LD655EA .
In terms of performance - i dont really care(though HP has +1gb memory, means it it would be easier to run win 7, otherwise i'll have to install XP), as long as it is cheap. My real concern is reliability. Has anyone dealt with cheap Lenovos and HPs?
