much better place to start

I question if people actually know about sager/clevo or if they just read what I and a few others write and recommend something blindly.

Op- For what you are looking for one of the best choices would be a sager 8130.

http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np8130-...m1-p-2973.html

The 460m will play all the games you listed at medium-high with that resolution. I know you said low was fine, but weaker cards have trouble keeping 60 fps at 1920x1080 even on low.

The 8130 is most likely a better buy for you as the 8150 only has two perks compared to the 8130, one being upgrading the gpu, which i doubt youll ever do as the 460m will play games on high-medium and low for a few years, and laptop gpus are expensive.
second perk of the 8150 is that it has a soft rubber coating, which people seem to like, EXCEPT it covers the trackpad which EVERYONE hates.

At your price point You'll be able to buy it and install your own ssd, or have one installed for you. Please note that the 8130 doesnt have two HDD bays, so you either have to choose a 500 gig HDD, or SSD OR you can remove the optical drive and have both.

Also, I'd stick to the 2630qm for the cpu, as you mught be able to afford a 2720qm which is great, but the resellers are tacking on $160 the cost of it. (the 2720 is only $30 more if you buy it retail)

Both will be amazing though as they are both sandybridge and crush the old mobile i7's. They even compare quite well to stock desktop i7's.

EDIT: forgot you were in canada, Xotic will ship to canada but there's also a reseller in canada if you want to deal with them:

haha nice; didnt mean to offend you its just that so many other people seem to be recommending sager recently, and I just dont want people to be recommending an $800+ device based on them seeing other people recommending it. As that could lead to misinformation and problems. You know?

Sager has bad costumer support, and the last time I did a price comparison they were more expensive then most of the retailers (including xotic). Since then I know xotic has increased prices, and a few other resellers have too.

When you deal with a reseller they become the middleman (for no price increase usually) and have a better relationship with sager then an individual costumer would, so its much easier to do repairs if needed. Plus most resellers have very knowledgeable reps who can guide you through anything you need to know, like disassembling your whole laptop!

When I or other people link to xotic or other sites, I'm just giving them a starting point, where they can either buy it then and get good service and a decent price, or they do research and can usually get the laptop for cheaper with the same costumer service.
