In my opinion, there isn't such thing as a 'best mouse' for specific games. Pick a mouse based on what you're going to be using it for. If you need a lot of buttons then yes, a Naga could be for you. However, if you prefer a comfortable mouse (completely subjective) then a Deathadder might be the best option. Again, if you prefer customizable mice, then the RAT series might be a better pick.

Choose a mouse that ticks all your boxes as 'the best' will depend on who you're talking to.

Any mouse with on-the-fly sensitivity settings is the Best mouse for PlanetSide2.

The reason is that Infantry ADS weapons you want low DPI to allow you to smoothly track. Aircraft you want high DPI to let you do maneuvers, and vehicles it is more of a preference.

Being able to fine tune each situation on the fly will help your gameplay because sometimes you do want very high DPI as infantry and low DPI as aircraft.

I use a Logitech MX518

Maybe I'm mistaken, but didn't PS2 have separate sensitivity settings for infantry/vehicles?
I didn't have trouble with switching between them. My only problem was that the sens would not go low enough for my liking on 1800 CPI, now with 800 CPI it's ok. But now I'm not playing PS2 much anymore

Yes the in game mouse sensitivity settings work great. I like to think of them as my standard default setting.
Being able to increase or decrease sensitivity from there makes a huge difference for adaptability.

Sorry I can't give any mouse reccommendations because I bought my MX518 5 years ago and it is still going strong! Lol
