Hi guys, i know alot of people recommned the noctuas, however there too dam expensive (upwards of £20 per fan is ridiculous), i was wondering if anyone had any knowledge on good fans to stick inside a i7 build running at 75C load?

My current setup includes a 200mm top fan at 800 rmp, 134 CFm, 3x 2000 rpm 79 CFM antec fans, and a Scythe S-FLEX 1600RPM Ultra Quiet 120mm at 63 CFM, 28 dba.

below is a few fans that have caught my eye.

Akasa AK-FN057 Apache Super Silent 120mm Fan - 4 Pin PWM -£13.98 each, 57.53 CFM, 16dBa.

Fractal Design 140mm Silent Cooling Fan - £11.99 each, 39 CFM, 9 dBa.

Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm 800 RPM - £10.34 each, 28 CFM, 9 dBa.

Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 120mm Fan - £9.99 each, 36 CFm, 19 dBa.

Scythe Kama PWM 120mm Fan £9.19 each, 52 CFm, 25 dBa.

The Kamas. Just the right balance of airflow and noise, decent quality, and cheaper than the others.

hmm for an extra £4 per fan i get 9 less dba with the akasa super silent...is 25 dba that much different than 16? i might just have to buy both and see if the difference is that much

I don't trust the Akasa's dBA rating, honestly; it may actually be the same noise level at full speed as the Kama while being lower-quality.

Get the Gentle Typhoon (Though probably the 1150RPM or 1450RPM one instead of the 800RPM one)
whatever you do, stay away from the low-speed 120mm coolermaster ones.
those are the 120mm fans rated at 12V 0.16A. they barely move any air.
