hey guys.. i'm in the process of modding a case for my gf.... an old simple gateway mATX case lol. Easiest way to make a case exactly the way she wants it... anywho, what, in your opinion, is the best type of paint for the case exterior?

I use painters touch from rustoleum. It is some of the best rattle can paint out there. Especially if you are looking for a gloss finish. I also use krylon. I do a lot of spray art and these are the two best choices IMHO. I suggest you pick up some replacement nozzles for the cans and swap them out before you even start. And remember, prime first, scuff and then paint. You'll be glad you did.

What do you use to scuff after you primer?

Thanks, maybe I wasnt clear, I know you use sandpaper to scuff paint, what grit do you find best for computer cases.

Not sure if you said that with sarcasm or not.

Post primering, you can wetsand with 600 grit wet/dry then actually give it one more coat of primer before painting.

No sarcasm, there are 400,000 threads on case painting.
