Sweet, I do like the price on that one better...........the reviews don't seem solid.........i guess you take a chance that you get one that works. Or you can send it back

IMO there shouldnt be a problem.
PSU's die because of heat.
The peoples whos psu's died were prolly overheating there case or w/e.
Ive seen at least one reviews on newegg for pretty much EVERY psu that ive seen where one blew up.
And if your that worried just run the psu overnight or something without it being plugged into anything.
Or even better get a bunch of fans and make it so they can run on the 12v 5v and 3v so that the psu is being used but no expensive components are at risk

steveo took the link out of my mouth....probably the best brand available for psu's. If your budget is 2-250, then that's the choice.

I wouldnt say its the best brand.
But its one of the top 5.

What do you guys think of this setup for overclocking my Sempron 2800+ with Biostar TForce 6100 754 board?? Any suggestions are definitely a big help, but keep in mind this price range is currently out of my budget as is

Find a professional review anywhere that had a bad experience with the Seasonic and i'll believe it. Until then, Newegg "reviews" have about as much validity as Bill Clinton. I'd be willing to bet that 1/2 of the reviews on there are from people that have never even seen a Seasonic nor used one.

I think you're going overboard on the power supply. Having a nice one is very important, but you're overkilling your needs. Get this one and put the extra savings into a different upgrade or save it for your next system. It will more than handle your machine and anything you add to it.

That's an extremely well built power supply and is a very good buy under $100. There are several members here running it and I have yet to see a single negative remark. It can prove to be hard to find in stock though, so be patient. It sells out frequently.

I said that IMO the PPC psus are not the best.
They are in the top 5.
And I dont see there as being a best psu maker or psu.
