any wellbuild Gskill, Corsair, OCZ will do perfectly fine,
they all have great potential to OC like a beast

EDIT
forgot to say mushkins are BEASTY as well
After much thought of which RAM I should get for my Phenom II 955/MSI 790FX-GD70 build..

I decided to go for these once I get some extra cash:

2x2GB OCZ Platinum 1.65V DDR3 1600

[Look into lower voltage RAM, which is beneficial for overclocking that it provides more headroom.]
I like giel ram it's very underrated an is extremely good ram defiantly worth a look at
I really don't like Corsairs RAM as they have failed on me twice. I'd get some G.Skill RAM, they always make good stuff. But really any high end OCZ, G.Skill or Mushkin RAM will do.
OCZ Platinum (7-7-7-24) !!!!

I run Gskills on mine. 1ghz overclock with my rig. Just click my cpuid at the bottom. The only link necessary.
I've got some g.skills as wel cna do 1600mhz at 9-9-9-24, right now they are clocked at 6-6-6-20 800mhz
any good ram specially made for AMD?
i was thinking going OCZ, the AMD Black edition
Get anything with really tight timings for AMD systems.

Lower voltage is always better. It's not like with higher voltage, you're RAM is actually going faster (at the same speed as low voltage).
