I am current looking at these:

HT Omega Striker 7.1
Asus Xonar D1
Asus Xonar DX

Which one of these is better?

Don't bump your thread until 24 hours, it's against the ToS.

I'd go with the HT Omega Striker.
? So the Xonar is not as good? <.< I have heard a lot of good things about the striker
i take it you aren't even considering x-fi's?
I never said that I wasn't considering them, I just do not have a preference for them.
The Striker has better OP Amps than the Xonar.
ok, well then its kinda a toss up between the DX and the Omega for me. Both are great soundcards, and it might just have to come down to which one you want. Im not sure as to which will perform better, maybe coast around for some reviews and compare? I will add, i loved my x-fi titanium (lol fatal1ty one, same as reg). Easily the best soundcard i have owned, but then again all i have owned are creative cards so im biased

If you want to save money get this:

For $29 it's WIN!

The DX and the D1 are the same card, just with a different interface.

I'd get the PCI one as it has a lower latency.

That is a heck of a deal. The extreme music is a solid card.

Yep, with the savings he can almost pay for that $99 SSD at newegg (OCZ Vertex 30GB).

Would the Striker be better than the XtremeMusic? I personally like it more.
Then the Striker it is.

Is there a feature you just MUST have with the Striker. For the price difference IMO it's hard to justify not buying the X-Fi.

No, there really isn't one. I just am not fond of X-fi. Although I have heard good things, I have also heard bad. On top of that I am not buy for Amazon right now....
