MX-3.

IC Diamond performs onpar with MX-2. MX-3 beats Shin Etsu, but is not on this chart. I've never used Indigo Extreme, but i'm pretty sure its about the same as MX-3.

the time it take for the TP to cure and you get real temps, before curing the temp will be higher than normal

Time it takes for the thermal paste to set in and get max cooling efficiency.

Most newer thermal paste have 0 burn in time.

The time it takes for the TIM to reach optimal efficiency

TX-3 looks promising.

Good choice. It's the cheapest definitely out of all the options listed. I love the performance of ICD7 but one $7 tube lasts me maybe 4 applications.

The best performer is the Shin Etsu X23-7783D, which if you're interested in you can get here: http://www.petrastechshop.com/shx2thco1gr.html

Though again $8 for 1 gram!

Go with IC Diamond. It's alot better due to less burn in time, giving you immediate results.
Indigo Xtreme performs the best, but it costs $20 for 2 applications, and is difficult to use.

Shin Etsu X23-7783D is the next best, but is rather expensive.
MX-3 and IC7 are both also very good, though IC7 is rather hard to spread.

OCZ Freeze is cheaper then the others, and performs well, but not quite as good as the more expensive pastes.
for the ic7 it says just to use one pea size drop on the cpu? Or is other ways better?
The pea size should be fine. The stuff is notoriously difficult to spread.

Use a big drop. Follow their instructions, I get the best results that way. Their site is down, but they put a fat glob on there, like 5mm in length.

I took apart my RIIE and removed the stock TIM and replaced with OCZ Freeze. I also used OCZ Freeze on my 2 GTX295's + CPU -that stuff is my #1 pick.
