Hey there fellas,

Just wondering poll wise what size perspex most people use or are willing to suggest.

Was thinking of using it for windows, and molding into shapes for mods and the like...

I would say either 3mm or 4.5mm, because they are the sizes the ponoko use and also that anything bigger might look odd or add extra size/weight

That would depend on how big your window is and what orientation it will be in. You should be able to get away with 3 mm just fine, if the window is in the range of a regular tower. Make sure that you don't get cast plastics, they are not a flat surface and will refract the light. If you tell us the size and what it is going to be used for I can tell you the minimum thickness you can use. If you have a drawing with dimensions I can give you a pretty picture telling you if it will break or not (FEA).

Will be for multiple projects that is all. One being a TJ07 window and assorted parts and the second being a TJ08E

It would depend if you are looking for your acrylc pieces to be structural pieces (as in a test case) or simply using them to be something you can look through.

That is what I thought. So definitely no thinner than 3mm... Maybe I should just get a mixture... Saying that the heaviest thing it would be holding is maybe a 400ml thing of qatercooling goodness...
