Since this is the first PC I will be building, I want a widescreen LCD that will last for a long time that's around $250. I'll be using it for regular Office applications, gaming *not too hardcore*, but will be mostly surfing the web and watching DVDs; all-around stuff.
I've been searching around Newegg and found a couple of LCDs that sparked interest:
ViewSonic - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824116373
BenQ - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824014105
Sceptre - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824112176
Samsung - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001088
Some questions. What is response time and how does it affect the monitor? *ie:8ms*. For the resolution size, how much of a difference is 1400x900 compared to a 16**x1***?
Thanks in advance.
