Best wireless adapter for the price?

Well, I use ethernet, so I don't really know crap about wireless. But I'm suppose to be moving, and the router there is in the basement, and on the other-side of the house, so I was wondering what kind of wireless I should get, that would be durable when it comes to holding the connection, and having closest to ethernet like speed. The budget I'm looking for, is probably 25$ highest. It shouldn't really matter if it's a card, or a usb adapter. I like the ones that have the cable, so the fat adapter doesn't block your other usbs. But whatever works, so far, someone said this, but I wanted more information, and what other people would recommend.

Guess no one knows, thanks anyway.
I highly recommend this, but it's a bit outside of your range at $43.
