Best X58 for under 300.00

Ok so I was gonna buy a monitor with my Bonus check but I decided to buy a new MB instead. I am not really liking this gigabyte board. It reaches a maximum of 180MHz Bclk, and that is just not acceptable to me. So I have up to 300.00 and am not sure what board to buy.

I was going to say the GA-EX58 EXTREME, but I doubt it is any differant then that UD4P.
Gigabyte X58-UD5. Used two to build rig for others. They like it.
GA X58 EXTREME is an outstanding overclocking board from what I have seen.
The Extreme is about 30 dollars out of budget. I do not think I can swing even that small amount. How is the XFX, and BloodRage? I would have to change my PC name if I get the Foxconn BR... no more Blue

They are all so close. Does it really matter? I'd say the Bloodrage is your best bet.

I was thinking the same thing. It is only 10 over budget so I can swing it. I guess the blood rage it is. So that brings me to my next question anyone want to buy an EX58-UD4P?

It doesn't matter. Hard to explain which one is better unless try them. I have tried few and comes to a conclusion that UD5 can do most high-end boards can do.

Well it is like I said I just want a MB that can push my components. This MB is not the one unless I am doing something wrong. For the life of me I cannot get it to top out past 180MHz Bclk. I will admit that it could be user error but if so it is way beyond me. I have tried every suggestion from this forum, the Gigabyte forum, and XS. I can boot to windows at 200Mhz but no voltage on this MB that I was willing to try would work to stabilize it. Most of the time as soon as I seen the desktop , I would BSOD. 190 is internet stable, but thats it no games and no benchies. 180 is 100% stable and runs just fine for me. The system is crazy fast and really needs no extra performance. This is totally and epeen thing as I want a 200Mhz + MB.

As far as selling goes I will take either 245 shipped, or I will take an Full HD monitor no smaller than 22". As far as that trade goes I am pretty picky I have my heart set on a 24" Samsung for 269.00, but I am still very interested in offers. For the record this MB is about 5 weeks old, with EVERYTHING that came with it still in the wrappers minus the SATA cables.
