BF:2 Basic "Rules" ?

Ok, so ive been playing this for a few days and ive got kicked a few times by admin/vote...telling me to follow the rules, one even said : ask an admin before capturing flag or something like that

Everytime i get kicked it kinda baffles me as i don't do anything wrong (well i think i don't anyway) and sometimes im doing quite well, taking flags..getting quite a few kills etc..

Its pretty annoying as i don't know what im suppose to be doing wrong ?? Is there certain rules i have to stick to ? or are admins just power mad ?

Just look at the scrolling server rules. I haven't seen any rules like that before.

The ones I mostly see is no spawn camping, dolphin diving, (even though it's disabled with the latest patch), commanders should not kill, and get in a squad.

Don't know, Most all servers have different rules and most of the time they are posted, I've seen some stupid rules.

Also some Admins make rules on the fly, best thing to do is don't kill the Admin to much, It's Sad but true. Best thing to do is find a differen't server.

Yep normally the rules will appear in bright (yellow) font in the top left corner. Take some time to stay idle and read all of them.

Try some different servers, that's all I can recommend. Find a good server and you shouldn't get kicked. Only times I've been kicked was for being a hacker... which I'm not - I just happened to kill all the admins a load of times. That is probably the most common reason to get kicked, usually because some power crazy admin doesn't like you killing him.

Good server - unless you bunnyhop/spawnkill/kill with aircraft you shouldn't get kicked on there.

lol, I used to get kicked for bunny hopping in BF2 all the time, I don't see why it makes people so mad ;l I just can't help doing it sometimes...

I do it some of the time too - usually unintentionally while trying to avoid getting shot by a tank. Does get frustrating if someone does it all of the time though.

What's wrong with killing with aircrafts? Isn't that the point of the game?

Anyways: what these guys said. Most servers have message of the day like stuff with rules.

Once BF2 died down a little, it starting to turn into Hardcore, where now its pretty much "Realism" style servers.. Yet they should go play the PR mod and leave vBF2 alone.

Idk if they still around, but look for "MoonGamers" they ran Oman and some Karkand servers and didn't have any stupid rules. Just frag and kill
