Probably. I assume you (BF2) want to play with a friend (BF2 Demo).<br><br>
Get your friend to tell you the ip of the server he's playing on. Hit Connect to IP on the Multiplayer screen and see if it works.<br><br>
You'll probably need an unpatched install, btw. The demo is 1.0 or whatever, I think.
On a side note, my friend has a BF2 key (I actually use his). I started a local server on my machine using his key. He connected (diff account, same key) to me. Worked well for 1v1, I can tell you that. He was on dialup so it was laggy but it worked. That was back in 1.3...idk if the same holds true now.
