I am looking to find out how to unlock maps. I just noticed when I go to my map folder (C:\\Program Files\\EA Games\\Battlefield 2\\Mods\\bf2\\Levels) I see maps like :
Highway Tampa
Kubra dam
Operation Blue Pearl
Wake Island 2007

But when I load BF2 these maps aren't on my list. Whats the deal?

Do you have the latest patch, 1.5?

Are you trying to play them single player?

Yes I do have 1.5 installed, and yes I am playing single player - are those maps just multiplayer ? I was able to download some of them as additional maps and added them to the folder and then they showed up :S

Probably just multiplayer and there might be a fix/patch out there that will let you play them I know there use to be one that would let you play 64player in single.

Oh ok, I saw the one to allow 64 player in single player but I havent seen one to allow multiplayer maps, atleast not yet

If you knew how to do navmesh and program the bots you could probably convert them to single player, but I don't know how to do that. Good luck.
