Hello,
I recently bought a AMD 6970 Card my specs are -

Intel Core2Duo E7500 2.93 Ghz

3GB DDR2 RAM

Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 600W

MSI HD6970 Lighting 2GB

500 Gb Segate SATA Hard Drive

I am playing battlefield 3 on 1920x1080 resolution i've installed the latest catalyst driver version. I am getting 30-40 FPS in all medium settings and no AA and sometimes it drops to 20 . i installed the MSI afterburner an it shows following when i play-

GPU temperature - 60
GPU Usage - 30 - 45 %
Fan speed - 51 %

i don't know why itz happening my friends getting more than 60 fps with same card

CPU and RAM are significantly underpowered mate, its very CPU intensive and requires 4-8Gb RAM to run smoothly

You should be bolding your CPU. Dual cores run like garbage on the frostbite engine (unless you have hyper-threading).

big cpu bottleneck there and a slight ram bottleneck.
its best to run BF3 on a quadcore especially when using a high end card like 6970.

Look for a used Q6600 or Q9550 if you're willing to spend more.
If you have a bigger budget, consider getting a new mb+cpu
FX6300 or i5 would be great for bf3
