BFG gtx260 maxcore OCX - Overclocks

Hello Fellow NVIDIA enthusiasts.

Just got myself a 260 OCX and am pretty amazed by how much head room this baby has for overclocking.

I Set it at 675/1458/1163 right on its first runs and runs great!!
Looks like i got major headroom still, only reaches 45 degrees under load!!!

What kind of overclocks did you get with this card?
I'm willing to push it further but am not sure of reference values..

POST YOU OVERCLOCKS!!! and temps if possible!

just had 2 vantage runs at 720/1512/1188
P13745 best out of the two runs.
would that be decent for my system? not used to that rating style.

This was the highest I could get my old MaxCore, temps were in the low 60's

Oh and it was just the OC not OCX.

Nice nice!

Impressivle core/shader clocks! Why is the memory so mildy oced tho?
memory wouldn't follow as well as core/shader?

just asking so i know not to push memory to high if anything

I actualy didn't realy try and push the memory, I probaly could of taken the core/shader a little higher too.

I just didn't see the point as I wouldn't really see any performance increase, I was just trying to break 18k in 3Dmark06

Then I sold the card when the 55nm was released, so I didn't get chance to play with the clocks anymore

Be sure to register your card and get them to send you the nifty little flashlight + FarCry 2 if they are still offering it. The flashlight is pretty decent actualy.

May I ask what skin are you using GeforceGTS! Looks very sharp and nice

I actualy can't remember right now, I no longer have it since I formatted my XP partition and mainly use Vista

I'll see if I can find it for you though.

side note: geforce I'm wondering how you're getting that 18xxx in 3dmark06.

in vista x64 i get the same with a Q9550 at 4.2GHz and my gtx 260 @ ocx clocks.

does windows xp to vista really make that much of a difference?

to the op: i've been running my BFG gtx 260 maxcore oc (stock at 570/1296/1998) at ocx clocks (655/1400/2250) and it's been fairly stable for about a month or so. I will be trying to go as far as I can with core and shader (i'm hoping 700+ core and around 1500 shaders and around 2350 for mem) I really doubt i'll be able to push more than that without at least a bios mod or a hard mod.

Yep, your 3DMark06 score takes quite a beating in Vista, I always do my runs in XP, I think I lose about 1000 points in vista, not sure though, it's been a while since I ran it.
