Ok, by accident I downloaded forceware and it wouldnt let me play games so I uninstalled it, installed omega, and installed the 66.93 and every time I play a game I hear it running but it keeps coming back to the windows screen. What do I do? But for some reason, this only happens on 1280, not 1024.

I have no clue, my recomendation would be to just lower your resolution and get better frame rates

What game does it happen in?

it happens in HL2...but I fixed that with a update of my vid card driver. but splinter cell 2 which ironically came packaged with the card still jumps and so does Rainbow6: Raven shield.

I don't think it's a resoltuion problem since Doom 3 works and the games are actually really smooth in between jumps. If it's lag I'd expect the game to be laggy all the time

at first I though it was a direct X problem since Doom3 works fine, but reinstalling DX9c didn't help.

Also, the splinter cell diagnostic keeps saying my com doesn't support "non power-of-two target rendering" I have no idea what that means

i fixed it with system restore. Thanks anywayz guys.
