Man I just installed my Big Typhoon on new rig (AMD 4600+ X2 Manchester). and its core idol is like 25C. even with the fan off it idles roughly 28C. going to be SWEEET for OCing. This thing isn't even lapped.

so anyone that was lookin' at these things, BUY ONE!

the BT strikes again!
ill stick with my zalman
The ONLY downfall to the BT is its INSAIN size. its like artwork to put my computer together, and thank got i got an x-connect.

Basically I need to put that 4-pin connector into my mother board (top left corner, then mount my PSU, then plug the cable into the psu or else my hands wont fit between the psu/case/BT to plug the cable in.

Other thing thats a pain is the fact that the BT is so wide that unless you got a really short screwdriver, your tryin to screw on an angle because the BT hangs over the screw point for the H bracket
The big typhoon owns. Put a higher CFM fan on top it and watch your temp drop 5c
Yes i'm wanting to buy a silverstone 110CFM fan for it wich would RAPE it nicely!
The Silverstone FM121 is very nice. Its not that loud at all either but then again I have 2 80mm Tornados that Im used to hearing. Only thing that I don't like about it is that its white
I beginning to think I should have kept my TT BT instead of going straight to the Tuniq Tower before trying the BT.

Mine idles at 32C-33C. My OC is at 3.4, so that might be why.

I worked for an hour to get that damn plug in. I even put in the BT before I put in my new power supply. Talk about a tight fit, but it I did it all without having to reseat it.

yah. I love mine. And I agree, my only reason I don't want the silverstone fan is that its white. I want an LED fan on it. Maybe one of thoes turbine fans. We'll see
Slap a thermaltake thunderblade on there. I don't go over 40C load, even in the summer. Lapped with an upgraded fan, I say the BT can beat any air cooling out there.
I don't go over 40C now full load I hit 38C. I still want to lap it then it'll own even more!
I'm sure it can't beat a lapped Tuniq Tower

I get about 32C load with the stock fan, quiet as hell!. Then i though i would get a better fan, so i bought some deltas. And my temps didnt even drop, so i changed back to stock, it works perfectly fine.
I get insain cooling with my BT and its not lapped and its on its stock fan.
