BIOS not saving settings

I'm trying to raise my FSB from stock, since I just loaded defaults with my newly downloaded BIOS, but whenever I try to raise it, I reboot, and they are stock.

are you pressing F10 to save your settings?

maybe you are going to high for your board?

Even going up 10 FSB, I still get the same issue.

Flash to newest bios and clear your CMOS afterwards.

If the problem still exists, you should probably replace the battery on the motherboard.

edit: if you already have the newest bios, downgrade back to your old one or contact Asus if the replacement battery doesn't fix it.
