Hi
Running both Windows 10 and Linux (Ubuntu) on my PC.
One of the issues I have in Linux is lack of precise fan control via BIOS . No utilities like Afterburner, etc.

I was wondering if I use a Windows utility like ASUS Fan Xpert

will the settings 'stick' when I reboot into Linux?

No, because that program will only be running when Windows is running. I'm not sure it makes permanent changes to the BIOS. I remember using ASUS AI Suite II and expecting its changes to make actual changes to my BIOS, but it never did. Sure, it seemed like it, but restarting and going into the BIOS revealed that no changes were ever made.
