Bios won't detect second video card

I've got the correct drivers installed for both graphic cards, my 4870, at an 8600GT, soon to be 8800GTS.

My Bios recognizes each card individually, but doesn't recognize the Nvidia card if I have my 4870 installed. Any ideas?

Oh, this is also with Windows XP SP3 32bit on my sig rig.

I've disabled the onboard video, but it still doesn't recognize the Nvidia card. Might the fact that the 4870 requires PCIe connectors, and the Geforce does not, make any difference?

I don't know what I did, but it seems to work now.
