Hello when i enter my bios menu on my computer it does not have the option to change the frequency like overclocking it is not a branded computer what should i do
Ausu p2b f
p3 500mhz
My old computer
Could you give us some more Info on you setup Please?
You could try using ClockGen to overclock through Windows but it has not as many options as a decent Bios.
If You bought the Computer from A company like Dell the Bios options may be hidden/disabled
what kind of details do ya want
the computer was build
intel p3 500MHZ
asus p2b f
award bios revision 1013
and clock gen wont work
and every time i try softfbs and i move the bar it goes back to normal
On a pc that old there may be jumpers/dip switches on the motherboard you have to move or switch to change the vcore and/or the fsb/cpu clock speed. If you dont see those on the board and there are no overclocking options in the bios and you cant use clock gen or other software based overclock your out of luck.
