ive played the first on consoles and thought it was quite good, but never managed to complete it. so i went with both nice and cheap so cant really complain been after Bioshock 2 for ages

I bought both, beat the first it was an amazingly good game, the second one was pretty good too, but not quite as good. But i like this analogy:
Its like Duke Nukem vs Doom-Guy, sure they're both badass but Doom-Guy can beat Duke Nukem under any cercemstances.

Just an OK story? I would place the original in the top all time video game stories. Only real complaint is that hacking plays too large a role in the gameplay, but otherwise it's really good game.

For $5 a piece you can't go wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed the first one (have only played them on consoles) and would put that easily in my top 10 favorite games. The second was good though as someone mentioned, something was missing/felt off. Maybe it was too similar to the first, I'm not sure but it did have some good moments.
I fully expect Bioshock Infinite to blow my mind.
