Nice, I've been looking forward to this one.
I really know nothing of this game. Hype didn't get to me... :/

It's the spiritual successor to System Shock 2, not sure if you know what that is though.

Oh boy, maybe I might need to start thinking about upgrading

I might be better off getting it for the 360 instead of PC >,<
Mmmmm...I loved both System Shock 1 and 2, and I'm stoked about this one. It looks like FEAR on acid.

Just turn down ram consuming settings and your good, the 8600 is actually a little weaker then your 7900 because Nvidia decided to force people to buy 8800 if they want to be able to actually do something and have DX10.

if any one in this world doesn't know that game, they should be locked in a room with only a pack of water bottles, a pc, and a chair, with the game loaded and forced to play it thru....Awesome game, definetly a classic, better than fear...

For those who were in daipers/nappys when this was out try this demo to see what it was about. (I think it's okay to play on XP)

It most definitely is by me and many others... I am as excited over this game as I am over Crysis... in fact they are two of the reasons I bought my 8800.

A note to all those bashing people that bought DX10 cards in the "DX10 sucks" thread:

WRONG!

Despite all the arguing we've done, it's nice to see we agree on something.
