I recently flashed my BIOS to the latest 811 set. However, I want to try a different BIOS, the 607 RH2 (modded with OCed GPU), but when I try to use the BIOS flashing utility, it won't work. Any suggestions on how to flash my BIOS? Or, how to OC my onboard GPU?

Overclocking an onboard video card is not something i would suggest. Although it might be a good idea, im guessing it works the same as everything else. The more you pay, the more it will OC. Basically you got a free video card so i doubt you'll get much OC or any at all.

BIOS flashing utility through Windows or through the BIOS?

Windows = big no no. I almost screwed up my mobo doing that.
Through BIOS = means its uncompatable.

Don't.

OC through ATI Tools. No idea why ATI Tools lets me OC a NVidia IGP, but it does. I was only able to OC 2Mhz before a BSoD.

Best way of OCing the 6100 is OCing your RAM. The 6100 memory speed is Mem speed x 1.2 I believe ; even though as it always shows as 200/400Mhz.

That's a very dangerous quote to live by, esspecially on this forum. This forum is dedicated to getting the max performance out of everything, making on par with things more expensive than it. That quote contradicts the whole purpose of overclocking.

Anyway, back on topic. I'm not really expecting to game at max res and AA and AF. I just want some more frames. This is holding me over until DX10 comes out.

Now, if someone can help me flash my BIOS again, that would be great, as I'm completely clueless now.

Sorry for the double post....

That's the options for the GPU on the modded BIOS I'm trying to flash to. People have been getting up to 525 before it crashes, but they also couldn't get 256 frame buffer and I can, so maybe I'll be lucky again. Now if I can only actually flash it...

Might be an obvious question, but it is sometimes overlooked. If you are using a floppy to flash your bios did you format the floppy to be an MS-DOS Bootable Disc? If you are, and you did not, then it will not work.

Well, I have two BIOSes on one disk. The first time I flashed, it showed both BIOSes, and I could choose which one I wanted to flash. This time when I try, it just freezes, and I have to use my reset button to get out of the BIOS and restart.
