Hey, I just finished assembling a Biostar TForce 550, and I have no idea what these BIOS options do. The manual isn't much help. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment"><br><br>
Can anyone identify a few of them for me?<br><br>
#1 - NPT Fid Control<br>
#2 - Anything in the second or third screenies.<br>
#3 - Everything in the fourth screeny.<br>
#4 - The options set to Auto in the fifth screeny.<br><br>
Waaay too many RAM options to play with! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Thumb"><br><a href="http://assets.overclock.net.s3.amazonaws.com/8/85/8519347e_vbattach32694.jpeg"><img alt="LL" src="http://cdn.overclock.net/8/85/525x525px-LL-8519347e_vbattach32694.jpeg" style="width:525px;height:394px;"></a><br><a href="http://assets.overclock.net.s3.amazonaws.com/9/96/9622e230_vbattach32695.jpeg"><img alt="LL" src="http://cdn.overclock.net/9/96/525x525px-LL-9622e230_vbattach32695.jpeg" style="width:525px;height:394px;"></a><br><a href="http://assets.overclock.net.s3.amazonaws.com/c/ce/ce6b4312_vbattach32696.jpeg"><img alt="LL" src="http://cdn.overclock.net/c/ce/525x525px-LL-ce6b4312_vbattach32696.jpeg" style="width:525px;height:394px;"></a><br><a href="http://assets.overclock.net.s3.amazonaws.com/4/44/44591040_vbattach32697.jpeg"><img alt="LL" src="http://cdn.overclock.net/4/44/525x525px-LL-44591040_vbattach32697.jpeg" style="width:525px;height:394px;"></a><br><a href="http://assets.overclock.net.s3.amazonaws.com/2/22/227b8187_vbattach32698.jpeg"><img alt="LL" src="http://cdn.overclock.net/2/22/525x525px-LL-227b8187_vbattach32698.jpeg" style="width:525px;height:394px;"></a>

This might help shed some light on some of the RAM options <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/wink.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink"><br><br><a href="http://www.nvidia.com/content/nforce5/DU-02451-001_v01_overclocking.pdf" target="_blank">http://www.nvidia.com/content/nforce...erclocking.pdf</a>

Thank you kindly. <img src="/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" /> Going to read through that now.<br />
<br />
Hey, this rig is crunching Prime95 numbers @ 2.7ghz right now, but the CPU <i>core</i> temp is 52C. Is that an okay number? The normal CPU temp sensor is botched and reads 24C at the moment.<br />
<br />
Edit: Looks like NPT Fid Control might be the multiplier. <img src="/images/smilies/lachen.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Lachen" class="inlineimg" />

52C is a little high for my liking <img src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" /> And can you update your system specs so we know your "Current" system <img src="/images/smilies/tongue.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Stick Out Tongue" class="inlineimg" />

Excuse me just a quick question to you Krammy..<br />
You're using core temp or speedfan to monitor the CPU core temperature right?
