Hey everyone, I decided to take advantage of today's deals to build my father a new computer. Here's what I'm looking at:

And I'm giving him a samsung spinpoint 500gb HDD.

Total Price after mail in rebates is 300 dollars.

He won't be doing anything to taxing, maybe some basic photo editing possibly an old game, nothing intense. I told him if he wants to try a modern game, which I don't think he will, that he can buy a more powerful graphics card later. How does this system seem to you? Overkill? Underkill? His budget is under 400 but the lower the better. He gets buyers remorse lol.

That looks like a great "father" computer.
It seems just right, and very well priced.

Looks good to me. As long as he doesn't play modern games, he will be just fine.
