Bleeding XSPC Res top

OK, so I just redid my loop and added the above top to my ddc3.2. It looks cool, but I'm having an issue bleeding my system... The inlet for the res dumps almost directly on top of the outlet to the pump! The air in the system just shoots straight through the res without getting a chance to exit into the res. How do people bleed this thing!?

Isn't there a fill opening on top? Leave it open to bleed. Air will escape. If you have a D5 vario, lower the speed for bleeding.
the ddc res top is not for the d5

and you can just turn the pump itself on its side

I did that.

Look here

If you check the second picture you can see that the inlet is almost directly above the outlet. I guess I have enough flow with my setup that the bubbles go straight from the inlet to the outlet! It's finally bled now, but it took all last night and most of the day so far. My previous setup would take an hour tops to bleed all the air out...

well if ur a diy'er you can make a pvc custom pvc res an bleed in seconds
I have the same pump. I just incorporated a t-line into my set up, it made bleeding so much easier, and I'm sure it will be tons easier to drain too.
It will fully bleed out on its own...It will just take a couple hrs as opposed the the 20 min on a Microres.
