Hello.

I have an Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5970 OC edition.

I just reinstalled windows 7.

Now i have the problem that if i install the newest drivers of ATI it keeps giving a blue screen and it keeps giving the blue screen even if i reboot and start windows.
If i reinstall windows and do the drivers for the motherboard and the drivers on the disc (who came with the graphics card) it is all good. But it starts again giving me the blue screen if i install the newest drivers from the website. Or do i need to install another update first for the card before installing the newest driver?

I also tried the Driver Sweeper in safe mode and reboot again, but than it also give me an blue screen even before i install the newest drivers. Anybody got an tip?

Another thing is that the card is getting really hot. If i dont do anything (just windows main screen, not even move my mouse) the temperature goed allready up to 63 while the fan is running. Is this normal?

Hope ill get an answer soon.

Thanks alot

Problem solved.

I tried installing again as administratot and it didnt give me an blue screen but blue/white stripes in freeze screen. I reset the comp and it returned in small screen back to windows. Tried to install the driver again as administrator and weird enough it worked.
