This looks like a way better card to me than the X-Fi, the main reason I say so is it actually has the Toslink optical port on the PCI card itself, meaning I won't have to pay ~$300-400 for an X-Fi Fatal1ty or X-Fi Elite Pro with either the 5.25in bay or the external breakout box!

Anyways, the reviews (On newegg and actual reviewer sites) seem to love this thing but does anyone here have one? Have any of you used one?

You can also just buy the adapter for the X-Fi cards vs the front panel. I think the digital I/O is like $14 from Creative.

Also the problem with a lot of other cards is there EAX support. Most other companies are sitting with EAX 2 while use Creative folk are at EAX Advanced HD 5.

So I say look at the Extreme Gamer Fatal1ty for gaming or the Extreme Music for average use. Oh and the XRam is working great it seems in BF2142

EDIT: A review http://www.virtual-hideout.net/revie...er/index.shtml
EDIT2: Confirmed that it is only up to EAX 2 vs the Creative cards.
