I was thinking today, will Bluetooth ever get integrated into Audio cards? This can benefit in a couple of ways:
  • Instead of running through a USB port, it'll use the Audio Card instead, meaning better sound quality
  • Streamlined designs are sexy
  • Easy to get headsets can be used in multible ways (phone, computer, PS3, etc)

It would only be a good idea if it sends a loseless digital signal through the BT and if they actually made good BT headphones.

But then it would be an awesome idea.

Well, right. as current (and next gen) BT stands, this isn't a great idea, because it'll be like pluging a $2 pair of headphones into a $100+ Audio Card. I see BT 4.0 being good for this, since BT 3.0 is tackling the bottleneck of Data Bandwidth.

That's cool, but for audiophiles that would not suffice.
