As for that PBban, it shouldn't happen... it isn't anything like aimbot or anything and I don't cheat @ online games, wimpy if you ask me...
All hitfixer does is regulate the latency between yourself and others that have non consistent pings... and D3D just makes it feel alot smoother.
If you search forums about HitFixer's legality, you'll see that the vast majority is in agreement that it is legal, but it is always to the admin's discretion of course...

I used to play 2142 all the time. Than about a year ago my CDkey became invalid. I contacted EA support to figure out the issue, but they wanted a receipt to prove ownership and I had misplaced(lost) it. Surprising, all of my other games have their receipts still in their cases, except for this one. If this would have been steam, with authentication servers, I'd still have my game.
