Hello, my 2nd PC is have problems booting. I have to remove the cmos battery (and put it back in ..) to boot it and once its booted it runs perfect however once the pc is turned off/reset, it wont boot again until i remove the battery and put it back, and it does that everytime its turned off.... any ideas?

Specs:
mobo: a8n-sli prem
cpu: anthlon 64 x2 4200+

Also i get this message "cmos checksum error", i just bought a new battery incase it was that, however it didnt help

hmm...

remove the battery and hold the power button for 30 seconds then put the battery back in.

do u have an overclock? if you do it might be unstable
what i did when my old pc kept doing that was i gave it a slight voltage upp and a little up on the bus speed
