Okay, So I got my computer all put together in what I hope is all correct. It is a total mess inside when it comes to cables as I will get to cable management after I know and get everything working properly.

When I start it up I get the motherboard screen with the different options like BIOS and stuff. I put in the CD and try and install the drivers although that doesn't work. It ends up failing and asking for a Floppy in drive A?

It will say Illegal partition before it goes to the Floppy thing. No matter what I do it won't work.

I may be a complete idiot though. Am I suppose to install windows first?

Yes, install Windows first lmao. Get drivers online the drivers on the CDs are always out of date.

Just as a heads up, load win 7 and you'll see it will load almost every thing you need driver wise.

Only poor vanilla drivers, you're best updating whatever real drivers Windows scrounges up and replacing the vanilla drivers with proper ones. But Windows is a mess.
