Did you have a USB storage device(s) pluged in when you booted?
hmm... could the CMOS battery be "dead"... and therefore not saving the changes in the BIOS...?

Has anyone ever heard of this happening?
Well I have had boot probs. with the WD800JD. Open your case and check the connection, that helped me one time.
Maybe a cable went loose... Check for loose connections to IE. your CD-Rom drives.

It happens - but then it would give him that screen every time

If this is a one-time occurrence don't worry about it

no USB storage, nothing different at all, i will check the connections but everything is working fine once booted, just had to f1 to continue.
yeah, my lanparty does that randomly too...it doesnt seem to do anything tho
Some of the WD SATA3 need to be set to SATAI to work correctly with some BIOS. Just a thought.
