Hey folks.

Quick question for ya.

I recently purchased and am awaiting in my mailbox a new Galaxy GTX 670 OC. I heard they have some great OC capabilities, and I'm wondering if I would be bottlenecked on my i7 920 @ 3.5 GHZ? I've tried to get it a little higher with my H50 cooler, but I seem to have troubles beyond 3.5. Thoughts?

It depends. If you plays games like Crysis, BF3, ME3, ect and you GPU's are not both mostly at 95% and above then yes you are bottlenecked.

A FX-8350 is faster than that older i7 and it has been known to bottleneck higher end card. People say No only cause its a i7, but the truth s yes it is a possibility. Specially on such a low frequency.

You're good, my i5 750 @ 3.8GHZ handles my GTX 670 easily.

Should be more than fine.

You may notice a little drop in highly CPU intensive games but it won't be much.

Yeah you may be losing like 3 FPS total in games compared to a 3570k. Thats it.

TO be honest, I haven't kept up with CPU's at all in the last 2 years, I only really do research on them when I purchase. Sounds like I'll be good, and worst case I'll tinker and tinker until I can hopefully get to 3.8 or even 4.0. The only thing I'm bummed about, is TigerDirect didn't ship Fedex so I must wait until Monday for next day air. Video cards really do it for me haha. Thanks for your help everyone.
