There's a small recess on the radiator threaded nut where the fittings seat. Is this problematic with the O-ring seal on BP fittings in anyone's experience?
I'm using 3/8 - 5/8 fittings; the 90 rotaries I have seem to seat all the way down, but with a straight compression fitting mount I'm not so sure. Will a little thread tape be in order? Is that enough? Or do I need some bigger O-rings?
I'd try it with some pump pressure on it and see if its going to hold or not. If you do add a extra o-ring try to get at least 3 threads screwed into your rad with it to be safe. Less then 3 threads is pretty iffy in the long run.
