So,since the original motherboard I planned to buy isn't delivering to my location currently(happens a lot on flipkart, will be ok soon),I checked some alternatives. Now,I was planning to buy the GA 78 LMT USB3 but in the name of friendly competetion, lets discuss an alternative as well.
I'm asking all AMD OCers to share their opinion about these two:
1.Gigabyte GA-78 LMT USB3
2.ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3
Both cost similar here in India.
Now,
both of them has power phases of 4+1
the Asus supports up to 140W while the Gigabyte up to 125W TDP
Asus does not have VRM heatsink while the Gigabyte does
Thw Asus seems to have a heatsink near the bottom of the processor. What is that?I'm referring this page:http://www.flipkart.com/asus-m5a78l-m-usb3-motherboard/p/itmdk2kauzgdtyvy?pid=MBDDK2KAUZGDTYVY
Both are M-ATX and have 4 RAM slots
I think the Asus one has UEFI BIOS(the Giga doesn't) and some of their CPU parameter recall or something
Which will be better to overclock on?
