Hey guys
I am running the i5 2500 with Asus Maximus V Gene mobo and 16gb of ram. This is a side-PC that will be used sparingly. I don't want to break the bank on a new card. The only game that will be played on it is World of Warcraft. In my search, I keep circling back to a GTX 1050. I want to try to stay as close to $100 as I can on it. My question is, do you have any other recommendations and if the 1050 is the way to go, will it do well for WoW? I have another system that runs a GTX 760 and I am quite happy with it's performance in WoW. Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate an responses.

What resolution would you be running?

Since you are happy with the performance of the 760 lets use that for reference.

-1050 ti looks to be on par with 760 with better driver optimization in games.

-the 1050 is at a great price point value wise.

- 460 being the cheapest if $ is the concern for an underutilized pc

Based on what you have said i'd say the 1050 is a great option without spending more $.
FYI, I didnt price check other vendors just used newegg for references.

Res will be 1680x1050 for now. It's just going to be used for video streaming and some World of Warcraft. I was thinking 1050 as well for the price point.

1050Ti or used GTX 960.

GTX760 was a great card, but u can defiantly feel its age in new titles.
1050 is about the same performance, mostly a bit weaker.

what about taking a different route ?
upgrading u'r main PC with 1050TI or 1060 and moving the GTX760 to the side PC ?
yes it is more expansive then just buying 1050, but in the long way it will probably worth it.
