I know that isnt me $700 on RAM thats crazy especially when you can get RAM for $400-500 that can OC to those speeds with tighter timings

I'm sceptical as to what kind of actual performance increase you might get with that kind of latency as an anchor. Granted, Intel isn't as hobbled by latency as AMD is by a long shot, but it's still going to make a difference. CL6 seems an excessive burden to the overall systems speed, IMHO, especially when the new stuff from Corsair manages 1250MHz at CL5, if you feed it enough volts.</div>

It'll be awhile before I get used to an Intel system (when it finally gets here) as I was used to giving my BH-5 on my AMD rig almost 4 volts lol. 2.3 seems SOO low <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">
