Get a SSD for your OS since it looks like you're prepared to spend quite a bit of money in the first place.

Not sure about your Blu Ray but there were some on sale for 70$ at Best Buy this past weekend.

Fans- I don't like any fans bigger than 120mm so I just use a lot of those.

Get a SSD for your OS and just use a few regular HDDS for storage, you should be fine with 500GB unless your planning to save alot of videos and games to your computer. Also do you have a graphics card in mind?

OOO you guys think I should put the OS on a SSD ooooo! Ok that would change things completely... I am thinking about a graphics card, but I want to wait till I have my board to get one..
I think SSD sounds very nice. I'd hold off on Blu-Ray until they're in wide use, because read/write speeds are only getting better. As for fans, go hydro-bearing if at all possible. The S-Flex, as well as some others, have that, but it isn't on any 200mm fans yet.

I only payed 170 for my 30 gig SSD, it was expensive but worth it in the end.

*Thanks For Rep*

how many gigs does your OS take up? What if u want to install programs?
OS generally take up at least 5gb...when you look at the space lost due to partitioning I think it's around 10-12 GB some cases it's more like 15GB that you lose for storage space.
Well I am just wodnering if 30gb would just be enough for the OS and stuff... no music or movies or games just straight up OS with like firefox and some other essentials
