Plan
So I finally get to go through with a build for my self! This build will primarily be used for work, but i do love a good game

. Unfortunately it will also likely be the last build I can do for my self with current generation hardware for quite a while. I do have a plan, but I'm open to any suggestions you guys have

. This Build will be a few phases as well.
First, is to get all the main components set up.
Second, is to get a case and get it all water cooled.
Lastly, is to go fully tubeless!

Status
I should get the first update out over Winter break (week after next). You will have to excuse my terrible photography skills for now as i am new, and only have a point n shoot Ultrasonic

, but please give me any advice you have

Color Scheme

the first 8 and 6 pins go together, and the second 8-pin will be mobo power, and the second 6-pin will be the one that goes into the mobo. I like the idea of a 4 color scheme, but I'm not sure how well it will work. The coolant on top will be orange and bottom, purple.

If you havent already bought the xspc 7970s, get something else. its vrms are passively cooled.

Otherwise, looking forward to the build.

i actualy just found that out recently... i am debating going EK 7970, but idk how well they will go with my build and they will cost nearly $40 more a pice

... im still trying to decide on that one though

question: how are you going to go tubeless? bitspower extenders? If that's what your into, then i dont think $80 makes that much of a difference.

also, the ek csq blocks look A LOT nicer in real life than in the pictures (IMO)..... if that helps to decide.

Subbed for sure! As for name ideas, maybe play off the your motherboard? Big Bang could go many different ways with military or science themed names.

I plan to use acrylic tubing when I go "tubeless"... Also, I actualy kinda like the CSQ design, I'm just worried about it not matching the rest of my blocks

Nah... The "new style" is just an acrylic plate that goes over the top of the old block so that it looks like the raystorm and such I'm prity sure... I'll look into it though

lol... i like the name, but this will by no means be a military theemed build (the sole reason i got the mobo blocks tbh was to get rid of the HSs)... i got the board because i like MSI and loved the features... as soon as i get rads, those crayon heat sinks will be comming off
