Update: Done my Loop. Wow my First Time and Boy was putting those Compression Fittings on a Job! My hand was sore for 2days. The pipe makes a easy nice tight fit on barb but screwing the fitting closed in the threads is a MISSION!!! I sorta scraped some of the red colour doing a old trick well known as "Force".

To come. .

LED Strip X2 to cover below casing since casing is on wheels and UV Cathode to make tubing POP. Waiting on Fan aswell to put on inside rad. Thanks For keeping intune. Will post better pics when final stuff comes through. I am impressed with temperatures and WOW!! The temps with GPU under water is amazing!

I've got silver bullet in a 3way fitting in bottom for Drain. Had no space in res for bullet and wanted a drain to make changing liquid easy. But really the tubing thickness is Hard to work with and the bends without angled fittings i know looks messy but will have to do for now. I might get another pump to run in serial and add few angled fittings for a cleaner loop soon

More angles equals more restrictions and i'm after performance

Got LED's in and UV cathode.

2X BitFenix Alchemy Connect™ 30 LED Light Strip - 600mm - White
1X Logisys 15" Deluxe Sound Activate Cold Cathode Kit - UV
And some cabling.

Here are some pictures

Ok, my drain which uses a Bitspower tube clamp came off , but that was when hose was flipped upwards from gpu out. Got a huge Fright! But luckly i lifted it up quick enough.Only drips came out because tubing slipped off. I had 1 more compression fitting left and replaced the one clamp where leak came from. Would really want to replace the other clamp since those clamps are too small to go over the tube which is also on a barb fitting. That specific Clamp is Only enough to go over tube and tighten. Feels Risky to me but that joint is sealed for now aswell as the other one with the clamp.

Question:

Does UV Cathodes take time to Burn in?
I placed mine in but it seems Very Dim. Here is link to the One i have:

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=72_277&products_id=3322

And i've added the following White led strip below case:

BitFenix Alchemy Connect™ 30 LED Light Strip - 600mm - White

Sorry about picture quality. I'm always in a hurry to take snaps and move along.

Uhmm Ok? I am getting fittings to make loop look better. Not really the rad. Will just do cabling on fans there, thats about it. And my ugly pictures dont do justice. Looks Very nice in person, to me atleast.

I'd be a bit worried about those tiny (poorly made as well) fan screws holding onto that large of a radiator. As you can see, it is already bending under the load. That rad probably weighs ~10lbs full of water. I have a set of the alphacool copper plated screws and would not trust them to hold that. I'd at least go to a hardware store and get grade 5 or 8 hardware. However, the threads on the rad really aren't rated to hold that load either, so you may want to think about revising your fitment of the rad.

Thanks for making me aware. Can you recommend any from PPC's or Frozen CPU to serve the purpuse and what sizing and threading should it be if i may ask? i would not know what to ask and what would fit into the screw threads of the Rad

I dont understand why you put that big ass radiator, for me it just spoils the looks...the 360 in the roof is enough for your cpu and gpu...

Just take the screws to your local hardware store like Ace Hardware, True Value, DIY, etc. They'll help you find some. You can make sure it will work by trying a nut of the same size. Make sure that nut threads onto both your screw and the screw you are buying. You won't find grade 8 in that size, but you should find something quite a bit stronger than those cheapo ones that come with the rad. They sometimes have stainless

As long as you like what it looks like and keeps the components cool who really cares what others think of the looks. IMO it looks fantastic I'm going to do something similar to my second rig. Its not like your entering a case mod contest you built something with what you had. Instead of cutting the crap out of the structural integrity of the case. I personally like the rad outside the case. Hope you get the mounting completely sound!

Haven't been here in a while. Firstly thanks for the nice comment

Much appreciated!

This is my first WC build and it's definitely according to how i had visioned it
smile.gif
I have definitely learned a few things since having finally built a loop myself, aswel as seeing everyone else's, after all it is here where i got the inspiration to do a Custom WC build coming from just a H100.

Few changes i have made since then was getting

A dedicated sound card , The ASUS STX and
I tried SLI with a ref GTX680 to see how performance was and to experience SLI for myself.

I then sold the reference Ref GTX680, and the Waterblock for the Lightning 680, Slapped the stock Lightning cooler back on and boxed it to make way for my new GPU, Being the EVGA GTX780SC.

Plans i got coming up:
Once the Lightning GTX780 comes out i plan on getting 1 for myself, the actual goal is to sell my GTX780, get 2 Lightnings 780's and slap waterblocks on them and call it a day
