Hey fellow builders!

Coming back with a new build.
I teared down my old build Upside Down S8 project to reuse this magnificent case for new parts, it has served me well for the past 4 years.
I'm way over due for an upgrade of my Gaming Rig, it was worth the wait.

nVidia RTX 3090 is finally on the market, super low quantities but at least we can place orders to waiting in line.
PCI-E 4.0 is becoming a mainstream.
Intel i9-11900K is just around the corner in Q1/2021
M.2 prices dropped considerably compared to my previous built.
Finally got hold of a much anticipated Z490 AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE motherboard, It's been in back order for almost a full year.
A lot of components were in sort supply due the COVID19 affecting production and manufacturing lines.

All in all I'm glad this disastrous 2020 is nearly the end, and 2021 is looking a lot more positive with the COVID19 vaccine in full force, and availability of computer parts slowly trickling down to the rest of us.

Preparing the S8 case

Many items are still in transit, or in backorder.
Can't install motherboard yet, as it's missing the 3x Samsung M.2 drives and CPU.
The upside down set up makes it quite challenging to install stuff like the CPU and M.2 as they will fall right back out if not secured. It's easier to install all that stuff first, then install the Motherboard into the case.

The three M.2 Samsung 2TB drives arrived, now I'm just waiting for the CPU and RTX 3090.
The built can go ahead even without the RTX 3090, I can use the old GTX 1080 Ti SLI until the RTX 3090 arrives.

Motherboard unboxing.

As usual UPS did a Banged-UP job at delivery.

It was also filthy and dusty, it made me ponder if this was an used motherboard.

Couldn't stand the dirt, the box looks much better after clearing.
