I am building a computer for my friend. He is wanting something kinda similar but he said he would like it not as big as mine. I had some ideas, but i ran accross something i was curious about. I was going to run Nvidia 780i mobo, 8 gigs of RAM with a GTX 260 and Antec Signature 850 power supply.
My question is, will this fit in an Antec 300?? It is a midsize case, i do know i will have to get fans for the front for the hard drives. So what you guys think??
and my friend liked what i had, so he said he would like me to build and tell him a price on what i have, but with a smaller case, because he is tight on space, so i thought of the 300, but he doesnt like the the side view port.. so im curious
no budget at the moment, but i dont want to blow my wallet if you know what i mean, i really dont want to go with the cooler master, id like to stick with a company that i know i can get a good product from, something simple in a case as well, thats why i chose the antec 300, if i can keep the temps down for it. Also, this is a design computer for a friend, so i doubt there will be alot of games involved.
so with that thought, will the antec 300 work ok??? i do plan on putting the hard drive fans in it
Cooler Master makes solid cases. The Cooler Master 590 and 690 are both cases with high-end airflow at good prices. They're also bigger than the Antec 300.
For a power supply, might I suggest Corsair? Have a look on Newegg. The Corsair power supplies are solid.
also, will it be enough to run a 500 watt graphics card, im also running a 95 watt CPU with 8 gigs of ram, id think not becaus the power supply is 700 watts, and no upgrade
