Hey guys,
Thinkin about upgradin the sig rig. I play WoW and do a little photoshopping now and then. Other than that, it's just an everday pc. I'm not sure on a budget yet but for my needs, can you guys throw some build logs my way? Don't need an OS.

If your going to upgrade now, the only path worth considering is Sandy.

Go with an 2500K for around $190 and tack on a Asus P67Pro for $179 and throw in some budget 8GB of ram for $50 (if you catch a sale).

200 MAX. i only play World of Warcraft and have no interest in getting into another game. The PC is primarily going to be an everyday pc, with some photoshopping and web designing.

For video card if you can pull extra 20 get the eVGA GTX 560 ti its an awesome card.

Mobo is good, but consider this mobo and RAM deal instead:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.689144

CAS Latency for RAM matters little with Sandybridge.

HDD: Samsung F3 1TB ...$10 cheaper HERE

The extra Gb/s and cache on the WD isn't going to show much of a performance difference at all.

Here's a 2500K with MSI Twin Frozr GTX 560 Ti combo:

Case, Cooler, and DVD drive are good choices. PSU is a decent choice. If you plan SLI, the HX750 won't be a bad idea for some extra headroom. This Silverstone Strider is a good choice too:

if you're looking for a sub 200 gpu, i would go for a 6870 if youre an ATI/AMD guy or a non-TI 560 if you like nVidia
