Hey guys,

I am currently in the process of building a new Gaming Rig and I'm looking for some advice on a new Graphics card.

SPecs Are -
Phenom II X6 1090T CPU
Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 mobo
Corsair XMS3 4gb (2x2gb)
Seagate 500gb HDD
750W Corsair TX-750 ATX Power Supply

I currently have a GTX 460 SE and for my first Nvidia card i am pretty underwhelmed TBH.

I know its the SE version and not the normal, but I really do prefer a ATI cards.

What would you guys suggest for a graphics card?

If I were you i would get a 2GB 6950 unlock the shaders and overclock it.
It will perform about on par with a 6970. (got my gigabyte 2G 6950 last week, very happy $293 MSY)

Or if you don't want to mess around unlocking etc get a 6970. around $360 i think.

Both would play games very nicely, Or a GTX 570 about $370?

(I think most people run 460's in crossfire that may be why you are underwhelmed!)

IMO anything over these is probably overkill, anything under and you won't be maxing detail etc.
looks like im going to get an ASUS 6950 2GB

Will i need to get more Ram for this? or is 4GB enough?
